All grown

WOW...summer has officially come to an end . I didn't think I would be sad but that means both of the boys have grown up in the last 3 months. We went to the kids orientation last week and I wanted to cry. It is so amazing all the things Hayden and Ethan will learn in ten months. When Hayden leaves this Pre-k program he will be reading at a Kinder level, writing sentences, adding and subtracting and telling time, that is a busy year for this guy. I love that he only has 8 kids in his class and they divided the Pre-k class by age groups. He is in what they call a bridge class which means half of the year they will be doing Pre-k work and the rest Kinder. He is grouped with kids that have fall birthdays, which is perfect. He won't be bored and get into trouble. Ethan will be walking by the time he leaves and hopefully we will began to hear words from him! I love that there is only 5 babies in his class with 2 teachers. He is the baby of his class which is great because he definitely doesn't get babied here!! The boys have changed so much, Hayden is active as ever. He reminds me so much of myself. He can't sit still for then 5 minutes at a time and rarely finishes anything. He will work a puzzle, tell me a story, and watch TV all at the same time!? He likes to get out a lot of toys and play with everything throughout the day. David and I are pretty much convinced that we have to sign him up for something in the fall. I think we are leaning towards football because he won't be bored. I know he enjoyed t-ball but there was so much down time at his age that he gets bored, maybe when he is 5 and doesn't have to play with parks and recreation but little league. I contacted the local pee wee football team but he has to be 5 by September. So the hunt begins with active sport...any ideas? Ethan is now on cereal and fruit and veggies. Oh my...I have Hayden Jr. When I say this kids eats I mean EATS!! When you pull the bottle out or stop feeding him cereal he will cry and snort! I love it...it is so cute to see him snort and stick out his bottom lip, that so reminds me to get a video of it. David thinks that's mean! Ethan is rolling on to his belly and kicks and moves all around the floor. I am guessing Ethan weighs around 16 pounds...if not more and he is ONLY 3 1/2 months old. I know my babies put on weight and grow fast but geez! I bought a lot of clothes really cheap last winter for him and they are 6-9 months and figured they would work but I am not sure now. Tonight. I really enjoyed tucking my kids in and holding on to that moment because tomorrow night it will be different. Next year I will be tucking in a Kindergartener...

**I know I need to put pictures of Ethan I will do that in a few days or so. We are kinda lacking decent computers right now and I am using David's laptop that will probably go out any day now. David has to hook up the desktop but somethings wrong with the set up from the old house to this house so if you are DYING to see pictures of him (them), I will e-mail you random ones that I take through the day!!**

Ethan update

I always have the best intentions to blog but can never find the time. Yes, I am sure you are sick of me saying there isn't anytime but if there is time, I can't find it! So let me try to back track everything. A few weeks ago Ethan was crying and throwing up a lot which wasn't him so we took him to the ER and he ended up having some kind of virus. When we went for a follow up with his pediatrician. He suggested that he switch to soy formula and I cut out eating dairy products. This made for Ethan's Eczema to not be so bad and made him not spit up so much with every feeding. It has been a big hassle because I have to read ingredients on everything I eat. At his two month check up he weighed 12.6 so he doubled his birth weight in two months. The doctor said he was a chunky kid and not to feed him so much. So we did and he has adjusted fine. He is still such a good baby. No  real schedule yet, except at night. Oh well...he is easy going so he just goes with it. Hayden is such a great big brother. When Ethan got his shots and had band aids on, Hayden was very concerned he kissed his legs and was very gentle. He loves to take pictures of him and make him laugh. He likes to hold him but Ethan moves a lot so it is getting harder.
