Paw Paw

That is what Hayden calls Dale (my dad that lives in Missouri). He is having a blast here at Aunt Ann's. He loves playing in the sand with his shovel and bucket. Tonight Dale put Hayden to bed and he fell asleep quickly. I am going to spend one more day here and then Sunday it is back to the house. Hayden needs to get a haircut, his hair is starting to get frizzy with the long curls. Hayden enjoyed hammering on the loft floor at Ann's house. He has been busy all day. I think in the afternoon we will take him for a walk and to the park. David has been busy working. I feel like we haven't seen him in a long time. We miss him especially at night. Hayden looks for him.

Prayer

Please pray for Leah and her forever family. She was adopted out sometime this week. I have been following her journey. David and are on the look for another little girl to Sponsor. I think a baby girl this time might be fun. We aren't sure yet. I am going to miss Leah and her smile. I love her hair when it is in pig tales. Hayden got bit at school today. If looks like he got hit in the nose. His nose is turning purple. It has been a busy week. We are thinking about taking Hayden to the zoo this weekend. If the weather is nice. He would love to feed the animals and ride the train.

Sleeping

At last my baby is not a baby anymore. I am excited and sad. He doesn't need a bottle at night. He has gone a week with out waking up and asking for milk. I can't believe it. I thought he would always be hungry. Hayden has been sleeping a lot better too.I have been cooking a lot of stuff at dinner time. He has been eating more during the day time. I am not sure if that makes a difference but it seems to. Hayden has an obsession with socks or gloves. He loves to slip them on and wear them on his hands. He loves putting my stripe socks. He likes David's too because they are so big. He has a "cheese" smile face now. When I am taking a picture I say 'cheese' and he does a silly grin. I have been busy with school. David has been busy bidding jobs. We had a blast at Aunt Ann's house. Hayden loved playing in the dirt and sand. I can't wait until we take him to the beach. I have a feeling he will love the sand and the water.

Family Time

We enjoyed the last few days with Jason and Emily. Emily and Karen planned to take the kids to the Children’s Museum, but with it being Spring Break it was jammed packed. I think we will go another time they are in town. David did his first fence the other day. I am so proud of him. I am glad he his home at nights and spends a lot of time with the family. It is so nice that I come home to a clean house. David also built a really nice gate. I think he has finally found his niche. He is enjoying this. We are spending the weekend with Aunt Ann. Hayden is having a blast playing outside. He is getting his top teeth in now so he has been a little fussy. We have spent a lot of time visiting with Ann. My dad might be coming down to help Ann and Robert do some work around the house. Hayden will love working with his Paw. He still to this day loves to play with the measuring tape and hammer.

Weekend Fun

We spent this weekend rained in. It reminds me of when we moved to Louisiana it rained the for five days straight. Emily, Jason, and Ava are in town. We have been over to Joe and Karen's a lot to visit with them. It is nice to have a friend to visit and talk with. David, Micah, and I spent Saturday morning putting fliers out on peoples doors. We were in a groove and hitting a good neighborhood that need fences, then it started to rain. I am hoping that the weather clears up so that David can do some more advertising. If you know anyone that needs a fence done let us know. Anyways we spent the rest of the weekend spending time with David grandparents. Hayden had a blast. He loved playing in the yard and was covered in mud and soaked. Hayden seems like he is eating more and more everyday. I am not sure how much he weighs but it is a lot. I can't hold him for long periods of time. We have been debating on when to cut Hayden's hair. He will be 18 months in a month. That was when I said we would discuss the issue. Who knows now, my baby will be considered a toddler. We are doing good and loving living here. We also tried a new church today. No luck yet, we are still on the hunt for a church we are in love with. Please pray that we find the right one for us. I am longing for a church home. Now some new pictures of the MAN! Enjoy

Bubbles and Football Man

Hayden has been kind of crazy this week. He does the funniest things that are wrong but so funny. It is hard not to laugh and start the "discipline". Hayden has been doing this tackling move where he takes both arms and takes you down to the ground. I am not sure where he learned this from. He does it at school and picks on the little girls. He also does it to the older boys. I feel terrible. I am going to be the teacher whose kid is horrible! No one is going to want to have him in their class! It is so ironic that Hayden is becoming a BOY. He wants to play all the time. David wrestled with him tonight. They had a blast playing. I am hoping the more time he spends with David playing the more he will learn when the football move is necessary. Hayden's favorite new word is bubbles. He loves to talk about it! David always puts bubble bath into his bath. I haven't heard him say anything until I gave him a bath. He was talking up a storm about them. He was so cute because he would frown his eyebrows at me when I didn't respond correctly. I couldn't help but laugh at his little wet face.

Were Back!

This means two things...We are back in Houston (I am not going to go into the details of how we moved here or why but just pray for our family that we are following God's path) and I am back into blogging about our daily life. I have missed tell everyone what we have been up to. Well especially Hayden. Hayden is full of life. He is talking up a storm. It seems as time goes by the more he learns. He loves being chased by anyone. He is always a active boy. I have never seen this kid sit still. He loves to jump and is very brave. He loves to jump off of the bed when I count for him. He is into finding everyone's nose. He loves to help David work. He likes to get his toy hammer and bang it on the wall when I am in the bathroom. Dale did you teach him that? If you are trying to call us we got new local numbers. E-mail us and I will e-mail you the new number or call y'all. I am so happy we are back in Houston. It has been nice to have family near. One more thing about Hayden he is getting more teeth in. I think he will have 4 new teeth pretty soon.
