Family Time

We have been so busy spending time with family on both sides. Hayden enjoys getting out of the house. He has been so good lately. He loves to hold your hand when we walk to the car. He hasn't escaped from his car seat in a very long time. When David put him in the car he some how managed to get out on the way to Kroger. It is not far from our house but I was scared. David and I have started to eat healthier. I have gained a lot of weight since Hayden was a baby. I am hoping that I can lose it by eating right and working out. I have been going to the gym and it is kicking my butt. I am so sore. I am not sure what our plans are for the fourth of July. I think we might visit Aunt Ann. Hayden loves to play there and enjoys the freedom of being outside. David is busy again working. I think he is glad. He doesn't like to sit at home and waste time.

Hayden Stories

I love telling little facts and stories about Hayden. Today at school he was being very naughty. He took a toy from a little girl ran to the bathroom opened the door and flushed the toy. I couldn't believe that OUR son could even think of something like this. I am now facing the fact that Hayden is to smart for his own good. I have a feeling that this is just a small battle of what we will face in years to come. He also carried a mat (across the room) to the sink (since his teacher removed the step stool because he kept throwing things into the sink and turning the water on) stood on the mat and put paper towels down to stop up the sink and turned the water on. This all occurred when his teacher was changing diapers. Hayden KNOWS that she is busy so therefore (I believe) he does these things. I was not happy with him. David on the other hand thought it was funny. He is so cute at times too. He loves giving kisses he puckers his lips and makes the kissing sound. He also tries to share his sippy cup with Holly. Hayden had water day at school and loved it. He ran through the sprinkler. He loved throwing balls around too. He ate 4 bowls of pasta for dinner tonight. Pasta is his favorite meal. I found this organic whole wheat pasta at HEB and every time I make it Hayden and David eat a ton of it. I have found organic grapes at Kroger. I am so excited because Hayden loves to eat grapes every time we go grocery shopping. He looks forward to it. Hayden is now wearing 2T clothes. He has belly on him that some of the shirts aren't long enough to cover the belly but the selves are too long. I am planning on taking some pictures of him this weekend. I haven't taking any for a few weeks now. I have gotten lazy.

Fun Times

Hayden has been enjoying staying home with David. The house is a mess but the boys are alive and fed. I can't really ask for more. I have been in training. Hayden loves his Dad. When it is bed time he makes David come to bed with us. He is so funny. He went swimming at David's Aunt house. Ava went swimming too. They both loved it. Hayden enjoyed sticking his head in water. I have been looking for a daycare for Hayden I found one that I loved but it is really pricey. It is 200 dollars a week. So I am looking for something more reasonably. I am just praying that we find the right one for him. I want something close to work. I want him near me. I have enjoyed spending time with him and seeing him at work. He has been working really hard to use the potty. He loves to run around the house naked. He takes off his diaper and runs around. I always fuss at him because he isn't potty trained. He loves to smile and laugh when this happens. We end up chasing him and try to get him to wear a diaper. He has one set of his molars in. I found a pair of cute shoes for Hayden at Academy. They are wide too. I was so excited to find a size 7 for him.

Playing

Hayden loves to play tag or anything that someone will chase him. He has been having a blast playing with David. He will run up and down the hallway and giggle. Emily and Jason came in a for the weekend. Hayden loved playing with Ava. They took a bubble bath at Mimi's house in the big tub. Neither of them wanted to get out. We all took pictures of the cousins playing. It was really cute. Hayden was so tired tonight. When I looked for him this is what I found.

Hayden has been saying a lot of new words his favorite is up. He loves to get David and I up from the couch or the bed and bring us to the kitchen. Another thing Hayden loves to do it to dress himself. He enjoys picking out crazy outfits. He loves to put them on too. Many times I find him putting on two shirts then it is a battle to get one off. He has been a joy and has been behaving at school. David and I are learning and struggling with the role of parenting. I have said this before, that we are learning as we go along. When I say I mean it he stops but I want him to stop the first time I ask him to. We are working very hard on this. I call it listening the first time. I always tell him he needs to listen and do. I think that is the teacher in me. I haven't taken a lot of pictures of him but here are a few. Enjoy

WATER!!

Hayden is such a graceful swimmer.....NOT. He loves to splash around, float on his back, and blow bubbles. I went to Aunt Ann's this weekend and he went swimming. He loved every minute of it. He swam and swam. I am thinking all the water caused him to get a tiny bit of water in his ear which caused fluid to get back up which we all know caused the horrible dreadful night of Hayden screaming. This was all because an ear infection. The good news it there was no pus just fluid. Hooray! The tubes are doing better each time there is an ear infection. We have been busy enjoying the sun shine. David has finally had a break from working after 2 1/2 long weeks. Hayden was really missing his dad. Many days David would leave before Hayden got up and came home after he was in bed. Hayden's new thing lately is to copy you. He loves to sign and say please. It is the cutest thing ever! When he has a cut or a scratch he will kiss it. Today at the doctor he said he had an owey (not sure on the spelling we call it an owey or bo bo.) his smashed finger. That was the first thing the doctor looked at because Hayden wanted him to kiss it. Hayden loves to use the potty too. When changing him I have begun to sit him on the potty. He can hold himself up and tries to go.
